India’s bowling attack proved formidable as Bangladesh struggled to reach a competitive total of 256/8.
* An early setback for India occurred when all-rounder Hardik Pandya left the field in the ninth over due to a twisted ankle while attempting to stop a powerful drive with his foot.

Bangladesh have defeated India thrice in their last four ODI meetings over the last few months but it will have no bearing on the World Cup league stage game. In a scintillating start to their campaign, India floored five-time World Cup winners Australia in their tournament-opener and followed that up with dominating victories over Afghanistan and arch-rivals Pakistan.
Virat comes down the track and smashes Nasum Ahmed to send the ball over the line to bring up his 48th ODI ton. India win the match by 7 wickets. With this win, Team India has gone top of the points table.
