The sport of cricket is typically played outdoors on an oval-shaped grass field. However, with the rise of technology and the popularity of indoor cricket leagues around the world, the game has gone indoors as well. Several versions of the game have been in existence since the late 1960s, and like conventional cricket, the indoor version involves two batsmen, a bowler, and a team of fielders. The bowler bowls the ball to the batsmen, who must score runs.
Box cricket is played on closed netted ground, which may be indoors or outdoors, with covered nets above 20 feet and above if possible. It is basically played by a tennis or cricket ball.
